2,2'-Dichlorodiethyl Ether
Bis(chloroethyl)ether is a colourless liquid with a sweet ether odour. It is highly reactive and is used as an intermediate in the manufacture of various chemicals, including plastics, dyes and pharmaceuticals. Bis(chloroethyl ether) can be harmful if swallowed or inhaled and can cause irritation to the skin, eyes and respiratory system. It is also highly flammable and should be handled with care.
