Plate springs (live loading) for flange connections and fittings. Effective solution for insufficient bolt preload and leakage of packing cords.
Plate springs are an effective solution to flange joint leaks caused by insufficient bolt preload, where there is a drop in specific pressure on the seal and therefore possible leaks.
Plate springs are able to compensate for the decreasing volume of the packing cords by exerting an additional compressive force on the packing goggles.
The "liveload" system is used for screwed connections with flat seals and valve caps with mechanical stresses on the bolt due to pressure changes or thermal expansion, which are otherwise the cause of leaks in the connection. The "liveload" system disc springs are able to compensate for all these effects and maintain the required permanent and optimum bolt preload.
