The seal is designed for high pressure environments where copper washers are inadequate. Washer and rubber material can be selected as required.
The tape has a very low coefficient of friction, which makes it easier to screw together and prevents the joints from dropping. It is non-flammable, non-ageing and non-toxic.
Operating temperature: -200 to 260 °C
Thickness: 0.2 mm
Thread sealing paste made of graphite with a purity of at least 99.5%, meeting the requirements for applications in the primary zones of nuclear power plants.
The 0.1 mm thick Teflon tape has a very low coefficient of friction, which facilitates screwdriving and prevents joints from slipping.
