Sulfuric acid is a weak divalent acid. It is a colourless soluble liquid that is used as a reducing agent, bleach and preservative in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Sulphuric acid can cause skin, eye and respiratory irritation and prolonged exposure can lead to health effects.
