The customer has replaced the downstream upper part of the technology with a new one for technological reasons. It was necessary to inspect and possibly flatten the original 2050 mm diameter bottom flange.
This part of the technology is firmly connected to the ground, which is why we chose to machine the flange joint on site. This was part of the overall solution for the resealing of the apparatus. Gaskets and fasteners treated with Power Torque LF kote 450 baked-on slip varnish were supplied and then tightened in a controlled manner by our assembly team.
The reliability and safety of the flange connection is improved.
