3,3'-DMB, Tolidine, o-Tolidine
3,3'-dimethylbenzidine (3,3'-DMB) is an organic compound that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other chemicals such as dyes, pigments and pharmaceuticals.3,3'-DMB is a white to yellowish powder that is sparingly soluble in water but is quite soluble in most organic solvents. It is considered a potential carcinogen and its use as a food additive has been banned in many countries.
