Ethanamide, Acetic Acid Amide
Acetamide is a white crystalline solid that is soluble in water and has a slightly unpleasant odor. Acetamide is used in the manufacture of many industrial products, including plastics, resins and pharmaceuticals. It is also used as a solvent, plasticizer and feed additive in the food industry.
