Lime Nitrate, Lime Saltpeter, Nitrocalcite
Calcium nitrate, also known as Norwegian Ledec, is a white or colorless crystalline powder that is highly soluble in water. It is used in a variety of industrial applications such as in the manufacture of fertilisers, as a food preservative, in the manufacture of fireworks and flares, and in water and wastewater treatment. In addition, it is also used in the construction industry as a hardening accelerator in the manufacture of cement and as an ingredient in certain paints.
