Cyclohexyl Alcohol
Cyclohexanol is a colourless liquid with a mild, pleasant odour, is slightly polar and belongs to the cycloalkanols. It is used as a solvent and intermediate in the manufacture of other chemicals, particularly in the production of adipic acid and caprolactam. It is also used in the production of certain fragrances and flavourings and as a plasticizer. It is also used as an intermediate in the manufacture of other organic compounds.
