DBS
Dibutylsebacate (DBS) is an organic compound that is a colorless, odorless, oily liquid. It is used as a plasticizer and lubricant in the manufacture of products such as adhesives, paints and rubber. It is also used as a component of cosmetics and personal care products and as a solvent in the manufacture of perfumes and aromas. As a plasticizer it can improve the flexibility of materials, it can also increase the solubility of certain ingredients in cosmetic and personal care products and as a lubricant it can reduce friction between two surfaces.
