ETU, Imidazolidine-2-thione
Ethylene thiourea (ETU) is a white or off-white crystalline powder that is soluble in water and most organic solvents. ETU is used primarily as an accelerant in the production of rubber and also in the manufacture of some pesticides and fungicides. It is also used in the synthesis of certain pharmaceuticals and as an intermediate in the production of other chemicals.
