Isoforone is a clear, colourless liquid with a characteristic, slightly sweetish odour. Isoforone is used primarily as an intermediate in the manufacture of other chemicals. It is used in the manufacture of resins, coatings and lubricants. It is also used as a solvent in a variety of industrial and commercial applications, such as the manufacture of inks and adhesives.
