MMA, Methyl 2-Methyl-2-Propenoate
Methyl methacrylate (MMA) is a colorless liquid that is primarily used in the production of acrylic plastics such as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), which is commonly known as acrylic or Plexiglas. It is also used as a starting material in the manufacture of various other industrial products such as paints, adhesives and in dentistry and surgery.
