Disodium Peroxide
Sodium peroxide is a pale yellow crystalline solid that decomposes rapidly on exposure to moisture. Sodium peroxide is a strong oxidizing agent and is used in a variety of industrial and research applications, for example to produce hydrogen peroxide and as a bleaching agent for textiles. It can also be used as a reagent for the analysis of various compounds and in the production of oxygen in oxygen therapy.
