Titanium(IV) Oxysulfate
Titanyl sulfate is a white crystalline water-soluble solid that is used as a pigment in the manufacture of white pigments and as a catalyst in the production of chemicals. It is used in the production of titanium metal and its alloys and in the purification of titanium dioxide. In addition, it is used as a mordant in dyeing textiles and as a corrosion inhibitor in cooling water systems.
