Ethenyl Acetate
Vinyl acetate is a colourless, flammable and volatile liquid that is used as a monomer in the production of various polymers, including polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers. Vinyl acetate is also used as a solvent for paints, inks and adhesives. It is an important intermediate in the production of other chemicals, including acetic anhydride, cellulose acetate and other esters.
