Product description

We offer thermal insulation cords woven from glass, combed glass and ceramic fibres.

The cords can be produced in different variants:

• square, round, round soft
• elastic, flexible and soft, twisted

Thermal insulating cords are designed for furnaces, boilers, chimneys, storage tanks, pipes, insulation, etc.

Materials and their temperature applications

Product variants

Square cords

Excellent heat sealing, prevent leakage of liquids and gases. Lightweight and quick to assemble.

• Applications: static sealing of furnace doors, bins, etc.

Round cords

Excellent heat sealing, prevent leakage of liquids and gases. Easy and quick installation.

• Application: static sealing of oven doors, lids, containers.

Round soft cords

Made of ceramic or eco-friendly core with glass braid. Extremely soft.

• Applications: ceramic industry - boiler lids, brick making, etc.

Round elastic cords made of fiberglass

Do not fray when cutting. Can be cored with glass, ceramic or combed HT fibre for higher heat resistance. Can also be coreless - maximum elasticity.

• Applications: furnaces, stoves, boilers chimneys.

Flexible and soft cords

Thanks to their softness and elasticity, they are easy to wind onto pipes and tubes even of small diameters.

• Applications: furnaces, stoves, boilers, chimneys, valves, pipe elbows, flanges, lids, doors, manholes.

Twisted cords

Excellent heat sealing, prevent leakage of liquids and gases. Easy and quick installation. Counter twisted cords - resist unraveling.

• Applications: piping, furnace doors, electrical wiring insulation, etc.

Cord adjustments

The basic cord variants listed can be modified to suit the customer's needs:

1. Graphite finish - lubrication for better heat resistance.
2. PTFE coating - higher resistance to abrasion and chemical and corrosive substances.
3. Silicone coating - anti-irritation and dust.
4. Stainless steel outer sleeve - use in ovens.
