Pressed graphite rings are produced by pressing a sheet of expanded graphite with a purity of 98% C (industrial purity) or 99.85% C (nuclear purity).

Clogging rings are commonly found on our market, usually with highly variable characteristics. The most important properties are internal structure, homogeneity, density, ring flexibility and graphite purity.

Applications

Pressed and pre-pressed rings are mainly used as spindle seals in medium and high pressure valves. In addition, press-fit rings are used to seal valves using a pressure seal in a pressure-tight lid.
