Grape Sugar
Glucose, also known as grape sugar, is a simple sugar that occurs naturally in fruits, vegetables and other foods. It is a monosaccharide and is one of the primary forms of energy used by the body. Glucose is important for metabolism and energy production in the body and is the primary source of energy for the brain and body cells. It is also used in the manufacture of various industrial products such as fermented beverages and foods, and in the production of various chemicals and pharmaceuticals. It is also used in the treatment of low blood sugar, also known as hypoglycaemia.
