Potassium Bichromate
Potassium dichromate is an orange-red crystalline salt used in photography, wood preservation and as a mordant in dyeing textiles. It is produced by reacting chromium oxide with potassium hydroxide and can cause skin irritation and other health effects if handled improperly. It is also used in ceramics and in the manufacture of paints and inks.
