Klingerite is the commercial name of a sealant from the German company Klinger, which was developed in 1898 and has become one of the most widely used sealants. Due to its unique properties, it had a wide temperature and chemical range of application. It was also easy to assemble, where the flange joint could be "blooded". Klinger developed several variations of this material, which differed in fillers, inserts and more.
