Arsenic acid is a white crystalline solid that is highly soluble in water and forms a strongly acidic solution when dissolved in water. Arsenic acid is used as a herbicide, wood preservative and laboratory reagent. It is also used in the manufacture of pesticides, insecticides and herbicides. Arsenic acid is a highly toxic substance that can be harmful if ingested or inhaled in large quantities. It is also an irritant and can cause skin and eye irritation
