Chlorine (Dry) - Chemical resistance

Chlorine (dry) is a chemical compound that occurs as a yellow-green gas at room temperature. It is a highly reactive and toxic element that is widely used as a disinfectant and bleaching agent. It is commonly used in water treatment plants to kill bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms, in swimming pools and whirlpools to disinfect water, and in the paper, textile and pulp industries as a bleaching agent. It is also used in the manufacture of certain chemicals, including chlorinated solvents, PVC plastics and some pesticides. Chlorine is a highly reactive and toxic element and should be handled with great care.
