Methyl Chloride
Methyl chloride, also known as chloromethane, is a colourless, flammable gas with a sweetish odour. It is commonly used as a solvent, refrigerant and as a starting material for the manufacture of other chemicals. It is a toxic substance and exposure to high concentrations can cause respiratory and neurological problems.
