Cutting fluid is a type of lubricant specifically designed for use in metalworking. It is used to cool and lubricate the cutting edges of machine tools such as lathes, drills and milling machines when cutting, drilling, grinding and turning metal parts. Cutting fluids can be made from mineral oils, synthetic oils or water-based emulsions, and their composition also includes various additives such as extreme pressure agents, anti-corrosion agents and anti-foaming agents to enhance their performance and protect metal parts from damage.

Reinforced with bonded smooth Ni foil 0.013 mm thick (material: 2.4066). For low and medium pressures.
Reinforced with 0.1 mm thick perforated reed plate (material: AISI 316). For medium and higher pressures.

FKM has excellent chemical and heat resistance. It is used in mineral oil and grease based applications.
