A deethaniser is a distillation column used to separate and purify ethane from other hydrocarbons in natural gas or crude oil. It works on the basis of boiling point differences. The charge of the deethaniser consists of a mixture fed into the column for separation. This may be natural gas, crude oil or a mixture of both, controlled to ensure optimum separation and purity of the final product.

Reinforced with bonded smooth Ni foil 0.013 mm thick (material: 2.4066). For low and medium pressures.
