DBA
Dibutylamine (DBA) is a colourless liquid with a fish-like odour. DBA is primarily used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other chemicals, including surfactants, lubricants and pesticides. It is also used as a neutralizing agent and as a corrosion inhibitor in the petroleum industry. Due to its strong alkaline properties, DBA is corrosive and can cause skin and eye irritation.
