DEG
Diethylene glycol (DEG) is a colourless, odourless, viscous liquid with a slightly sweetish taste. It is used as a solvent and humectant in various industrial and household products such as paints, inks, antifreeze and personal care products. It is also used as a starting material in the synthesis of other chemicals such as polyester resins, plasticizers and lubricants. Its use is restricted in some products and countries due to its potential health and environmental risks.

It is used in refrigeration and applications where the seal is exposed to external weathering.
FKM has excellent chemical and heat resistance. It is used in mineral oil and grease based applications.
