DETA, Bis(2-Aminoethyl)amine

Diethylenetriamine (DETA) is an organic chemical compound that belongs to the amine group. It is a colourless, clear liquid with a slight amine odour. It is used as a cross-linking agent, neutralising agent and pH adjuster in various industrial and household products such as water treatment, oil and gas extraction and building materials. May cause skin and eye irritation and may be harmful if swallowed or inhaled.
