EDA
Ethylenediamine (EDA) is a colourless, flammable liquid with a strong ammonia-like odour. It is used as a raw material in the manufacture of many chemicals, including polyurethanes, pesticides and corrosion inhibitors. EDA is also used as an intermediate in the production of other chemicals such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), which is used as a chelating agent. It can also be used as an intermediate for the production of surfactants, emulsifiers and other chemical products.
