2-Chloropropane
Isopropyl chloride is a clear, colourless liquid with a strong pungent odour. It is used as a starting material for the synthesis of other compounds such as isopropyl alcohol and isopropyl esters. It is also used as an intermediate in the production of other chemicals such as solvents, pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
