2-Hydroxypropanoic Acid
Lactic acid 50% is a solution that contains 50% lactic acid and 50% water. Lactic acid is a naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that is found in a variety of foods and is also produced by the body during exercise. It is commonly used in skin care products as a chemical peel to help remove dead skin cells and improve the overall appearance of the skin, and is also used in the food industry as a preservative.
