Paracymene, 4-Isopropyltoluene, p-Cymol
p-Cymene is a terpene hydrocarbon compound found in many essential oils. It is a colourless liquid with a strong spicy odour. Paracymene is considered to have antiseptic properties and is used in the production of fragrances and in aromatherapy. It is also used as a food additive to give a spicy aroma and add flavour to food.
