Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate
Potassium bicarbonate is a white crystalline salt that is used as an acidity regulator and leavening agent in foods. It is also used in medicine as an antacid and to treat metabolic alkalosis. Potassium bicarbonate is produced by reacting potassium carbonate with carbon dioxide and is widely used in the food industry as an additive.
