Bromide salt of potassium
Potassium bromide (KBr) is a compound of potassium and bromine and is commonly used as a salt substitute in cooking, a dietary supplement for pets, and as an anticonvulsant in the treatment of epilepsy. It is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in water and has high heat stability.
