N,N-Diethylethanamine
Triethylamine is a colorless, pungent-smelling liquid that is widely used as a base and solvent in various industrial processes, including the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and dyes. It is also used as a catalyst and as a component in the preparation of various surfactants, emulsifiers and other chemicals. It is highly soluble in water and organic solvents and is often used to adjust the pH of solutions under laboratory and industrial conditions.
