Aluminum Trichloride
Aluminium chloride is a white crystalline solid that is highly hygroscopic, which means it readily absorbs water from the air. Aluminium chloride is used as a catalyst in the production of certain chemicals and as a drying agent in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and textiles. It is also used as a coagulant in water treatment and as a deodorant in antiperspirants. In addition, aluminium chloride is used as Lewis acid in organic chemistry and as a mordant in dyeing and printing textiles.

It is used in refrigeration and applications where the seal is exposed to external weathering.
FKM has excellent chemical and heat resistance. It is used in mineral oil and grease based applications.
