Pebbles are white or colourless crystalline solids that are soluble in water. There are many different types of alum, including potassium-alumina and ammonium-alumina. Alloys are used in many applications, such as water purifier, food additive, and mordant in dyeing and printing fabrics. They are also used in the manufacture of personal care products and pharmaceuticals. Pebbles can be harmful if large amounts are ingested and can cause health effects such as stomach irritation and nausea.
