Salmiac, Sal Ammoniac
Ammonium chloride is a white crystalline solid that is highly soluble in water and forms a strongly acidic solution when dissolved in water. Ammonium chloride is used in a number of industrial and commercial applications, including as a flux in soldering, a component of fertilisers and a supplement to animal feed. It is also used in the manufacture of textiles, dyes and pharmaceuticals. Ammonium chloride can be harmful if large quantities are ingested or inhaled.

It is used in refrigeration and applications where the seal is exposed to external weathering.
FKM has excellent chemical and heat resistance. It is used in mineral oil and grease based applications.
