Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the castor tree. It is a colourless to very pale yellow liquid with a distinct, mild or pungent odour. Castor oil is known for its high viscosity and is often used in the manufacture of soaps, lubricants, hydraulic and brake fluids, paints, dyes, coatings, inks, cold-resistant plastics, waxes and polishes, nylon, pharmaceuticals and perfumes. It is also used in medicine as a laxative and to induce labour.

It is used in refrigeration and applications where the seal is exposed to external weathering.
Material resistant to high temperatures and atmospheric influences. Suitable for food applications.
FKM has excellent chemical and heat resistance. It is used in mineral oil and grease based applications.
