DME, Methyl Ether, Methoxymethane
Dimethyl ether (DME) is a colourless, odourless, non-toxic and flammable gas. It is a clean-burning alternative fuel that can be used in place of diesel, propane and other fossil fuels in a variety of applications such as heating, transportation and power generation. DME is produced by the catalytic dehydration of methanol.
